The MEDIA BLAST featured album of the MONTH goes to the collaboration project between nerdcore hip hop supergroup S.P.F. (Symphonic Pheenix Force) and nerdcore hip hop producer / composer Da Rap Nerd titled THE ART OF FUSION, and the two acts construct a complete audio masterpiece. From start to finish, this anthology takes the listener on a musical adventure filled with each emcee from S.P.F. painting a vivid image with their lyrics and rhymes over powerful sonic backdrops provided by Da Rap Nerd. The team's vocals and the producer's tracks blend perfectly, creating verbal and melodic alchemy, stirred to perfection to birth a new creation that highlights the best from everyone involved with this project.
Some of the highlights of this project include "Listen" a song dedicated to one of the best games in the "hack n slash" video game genre The Legend of Zelda and all of it's historical milestones, "The Katana", "Be With You" which samples a track from Dance Revolution, the sexually charged "Wanton" as well as the lead single "D.O.A.". Although the aforementioned tracks may be some of the album's stand out cuts, the project overall is brilliant and well crafted from start to finish.
